I ran into a few issues getting the brushes ready for the different versions of Painter (1X, 11. 12). The good news is that a couple of the brushes have been improved in the process. I'm now shooting for a 5/11 release. -john

Hi Steve

These are not part of Painters watercolour sets. The Gel Brushes are a combination of dry brushes and the Wet Brushes are Digital Watercolour. There are wonderfully expressive and easy to use. I love them! Since this comment was written so long ago, you probably already know that, but others might not.

Has anyone experienced a bug where on the Mac OS X Lion using PS CS5.1, that right after you pick a color from the panel, the command and space bar don't work unless you pick a different tool, leave the app or switch windows? So for instance once I pick a color, I can't undo, cut, paste or zoom in with space bar until I choose another tool, leave the app, or click on another window?

John, your work is fantastic! Can I just tell you, watching your PS "mixer brush" tutorial (free version) has inspired me to, once the hectic holiday season is past, sign up to Lynda.com in the new year. A resolution to learn more from masters such as yourself. Hopefully, for me, OLD dogs can learn new tricks:)
Applying just the little I learned from that one tutorial to my Cintiq Illustrations has been amazing fun, so satisfying. Thank you.

For the canvas rotation I had no luck in Windows. The reasing is the Tablet mapping will not allow the keystrokes to be entered in the order of Spacebar + alt, only alt+spacebar. The problem is this is a function of Windows. I posted this with Corel.
